Let’s Talk Tech, 25th March 2026 – An Introduction to Windows Screen Readers

Let’s Talk Tech is a friendly and informative webinar series for people who are blind or partially sighted covering a wide range of technology topics presented by Gary Eady and Keith Dear from the Technology Team. Whether you are interested in accessible technology, new digital tools or tips for everyday tech use, these sessions are a great way to learn and ask questions.

This month the topic is An Introduction to Screen Readers. In this session we will discuss and demonstrate the range of screen reading applications which can be used tin the Windows 11 operating system. These will include:

• JAWS
• NVDA
• SuperNova
• Narrator
• How Ai screen reader can be used to read text from the screen such as documents, email messages and web pages.
