From 3rd – 7th November is Trustees’ Week, a chance for us to celebrate and say thank you to our terrific team of ten trustees who so generously give their time and expertise to us for free to help shape and grow the charity.A portrait of each of our ten trustees.

To celebrate Trustees’ Week we asked our wonderful trustees why they volunteer their time with us. Here’s what they told us:

“I joined as a trustee so that I could support a fantastic charity that does such important work in our community across Surrey.” Ben Green, Trustee

“I joined as a trustee to help represent the deafblind community and to share my knowledge. My passion is to be as supportive as I can.” Penny Gunn, Trustee

“I hope in a way that what I contribute helps the charity deliver all their fantastic work across the organisation.” Grant Lewis, Trustee and Treasurer

“Since becoming a trustee I have enjoyed being involved in the decision-making process for a charity that does so much.” Bob Turnbull, Trustee

“I joined as a trustee to share knowledge and to open up barriers for those who need it and to support independent freedom.” Russell Gilmore, Trustee
