We’re proud to share some brilliant news! Guildford Spectrum leisure complex, operated by Freedom Leisure on behalf of Guildford Borough Council, has named us as its Charity of the Year for 2026!
Melanie Main, Guildford Spectrum General Manager:
“We are delighted that the Guildford public chose Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey and we are looking forward to working with them to help raise awareness of the charity throughout the year. Freedom Leisure prides itself on serving the community and improving lives through leisure, and this partnership will allow us to do just that.”
Lisa Fletcher, Head of Fundraising and Engagement at the charity:
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Guildford Spectrum this year. From their accessible and inclusive sports and activities to initiatives like joining the Chatty Café scheme that help combat loneliness, their impact on the Guildford community is fantastic. Our Children’s team is also proud to host its annual family ice-skating event at the Spectrum. We’re excited by what promises to be a successful partnership.”
Guildford Spectrum will be helping to raise awareness of our services, and we’ll continue to support inclusive physical activity opportunities with them throughout the year.
