On 1st August, 32 of our children and their families had a fun day at Wisley!
The day started with a walk through the gardens to the Learning Centre, where Wisley staff had arranged sensory craft and gardening activities. The young people made lavender bags, dreamcatchers, shakers, collages, potted plants and more!
After a picnic lunch in the sunshine all of the families went on an adventure trail through the gardens, stopping off to taste apples and plums and take in the smells of the herb garden. The favourite herb was the mint chocolate plant!
The families then joined other Wisley visitors for storytime in the big top, which included lots of visual props and silly sound effects from the children.
