On Saturday 28th July, some of  the vision impaired children we support, and their families, attended our Ice Skating event. There were 64 people in total which made for a really fun afternoon.

We love going Ice Skating because it is an activity that everyone can join in with! Some people had never ice skated before, some were in wheelchairs, some used the penguin supports and some were soaring confidently round the rink.

The children and their families had great fun and we’re looking forward to the next event! A big thank you to Guildford Spectrum for allowing us to have the ice rink to ourselves.

At Sight for Surrey, events like these would be impossible to organise without the generous financial gifts from various trust funds, individual donors and fundraising activities.
