The Spring / Summer edition of Signpost is out now and packed full of uplifting and inspiring stories from the people we support, updates and information from us, dates for your diary and fundraising events and challenges you can join during the year and beyond.
This sunny edition, our front cover star is Roy, a regular to our Deafblind Friendship Group, Roy was at Bocketts Farm with the group when this picture was taken and he really enjoys the monthly outings, Roy worked on a farm many years ago and so he loved talking tractors and meeting the animals. Roy was accompanied to Bocketts Farm by one of our lovely Communicator Guides.
Also, in this edition the remaining dates for our award-winning Meet Up Catch Ups, have been released, as well as details of our new venue for Epsom from June. New Egham Singers are putting on two fantastic fundraising concerts in aid of us, details of both these events can be found nestled inside this cracking edition of Signpost.
Be inspired by the heart-warming story about Sharn, our determined Habilitation Specialist, who overcame a few hurdles so she could teach powered wheelchair long cane training to a young girl that reached out to us for support.
