A huge thanks to all the Sight for Surrey staff and volunteers who got up early to greet rush-hour commuters at Guildford Train Station as part of a fundraising and awareness initiative earlier this month.  A number of people braved the wet, winter weather on 3 March between 7.00am and 9.00am and 5.00pm and 7.00pm to hand out leaflets to commuters and ask for donations towards the charity.

We were delighted to raise £493.00 on the day which will go towards the many projects we run to support people who are visually impaired, Deaf, hard of hearing or who have combined sight and hearing loss.
