On Friday 26th January the Children’s and Young People’s Service (CYPS) hosted a fantastic fundraising quiz in Fetcham. This event was a huge success with a record turnout of more than 90 taking part. Between quiz rounds there was a raffle, Ploughman’s supper and lots of healthy competition between the teams, with a staff team named “BWP” coming out on top! The final amount raised will be revealed soon, but the raffle alone raised £350!

All of the funds raised will go towards our Children’s Recreation Programme, which aims to offer a wide range of opportunities that addresses the different interests, ages, abilities and needs of the children, young people and their families. Our Recreation Coordinators organise experiences and events for our young members that are enjoyable but to also help them gain a greater understanding of the world in which we live, giving them opportunities to understand different concepts – something that children who have a significant vision impairment struggle with.
