Last Saturday 8th June, Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey, attended Ashtead Village Day. The day dawned bright, and the rain stayed away!
Our stall was manned by members of staff, and volunteers, from the charity, and we sold lots of cute crochet toys that staff had made to raise funds to support people in Surrey who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind.
Staff from the charity were on hand to talk to people about the help and support we provide to people in Surrey, plus free information and literature was available for people to take away.
The day raised £190 for the charity. Thank you to everyone that came along and supported us!
