Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey’s Christmas Raffle has raised £7,144 for the charity. All twelve winners have been notified, and the winner of the first prize, of £250, kindly donated all the winnings back to the charity!
Lisa Fletcher, Head of Fundraising & Engagement from Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey, said, “we are delighted with the amount of money raised which will help us support people in Surrey who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and hard of hearing.”
Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey is an inclusive organisation dedicated to enabling and empowering people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind. We champion independence, where people thrive in their communities and achieve their aspirations. We offer expert support, services, and advice across Surrey, delivering our services in homes, communities, and from our main office hub. At the heart of our mission lies a deep commitment to equality. We advocate for accessibility and inclusion, to ensure that people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind can lead full and independent lives. We were founded in 1922 and currently support over 8,000 people in Surrey.
