The Department of Health has provided funding to develop a better understanding of the impact of sight loss and how vision rehabilitation and other early intervention supports can achieve positive outcomes for people.

ResearchAbility has been commissioned by RNIB to undertake a study as part of the Early Intervention and Rehabilitation Project. They are looking to conduct telephone interviews between July and September with people across the UK who:

. have received a vision rehabilitation service and would like to share their experiences of this, or;

. have not been helped by a vision rehabilitation service, either because they turned this offer down, they are on a waiting list, or such help has not been offered to them, or;

. are a loved one, family member or close friend of someone who has experienced significant sight loss.

We are seeking to conduct interviews between July and September 2015. Everyone interviewed will receive a £10 shopping voucher as a thank you for participating in the study.
