No matter how large or small, you can make a contribution that can make a difference. We can all do something amazing for the world just by remembering our favourite charity when writing a Will. That’s why we’re supporting Remember A Charity in your Will Week.

It’s a common myth that you have to be wealthy to leave a charitable gift in your will, but nothing could be further from the truth. After you’ve made provisions for your loved ones in your will, a small percentage of whatever’s left could make a massive difference for our vision impaired service users.

When you consider that it costs just £12.22 for a person to learn Braille or touch typing at one Communications Class, you realise that even a small gift really can make a big difference.

This Remember A Charity Week we would love you to consider whether you could do something legendary – after you’ve taken care of your loved ones, could you consider leaving a gift in your will to help Sight for Surrey maintain our variety of services?

If you would like to talk a little bit more about this or to find out more information, our Legacy Development Co-Ordinator, Jan McCullock, would be very happy to chat to you.  You can call Jan on 01372 377701 ext 249 or email her: togetherwewill@sightforsurrey.org.uk
