Sight for Surrey scoops £10,000 thanks to Tesco
Sight for Surrey has scooped £10,000 in Tesco’s Bags of Help Centenary Grants Initiative. The cash will go directly to the heart of the organisation, providing emotional and practical support for those with a sight impairment or combined sight/hearing impairment in Surrey.
Lisa Fletcher, Head of Fundraising at Sight for Surrey, said “this money comes to us a pivotal point as we invest in our Eye Clinic Liaison Officers, who provide essential emotional and practical support in Surrey hospitals.
Tesco’s Bags of Help project has already provided over £75 million to more than 250,000 projects across Britain. Tesco customers got the chance to vote for their favourite local charity every time they shopped in store earlier in the year.
