Like many charities Sight for Surrey had a calendar bursting full of fundraising events over the Spring & Summer including talks and activities to raise money to help support people in Surrey who are blind, visually impaired, deafblind, Deaf and hard of hearing.
Unfortunately due to the current health crisis all events have been cancelled and our fundraising income is suffering a massive reduction at a time when the demand for our services has never been higher.
We have key worker staff in the front line still delivering hands-on help to some of the most vulnerable people in society, the deafblind. Communication for the deafblind is through hands-on signing and without our continued help and support daily activities we all take for granted would not be possible.
