Join Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey as our full-time Caretaker and play a vital role in keeping our centre running safely, smoothly, and warmly for everyone who walks through our doors. Based at Bridgehead House in Ashtead, you will be the welcoming face and reliable foundation of our charity. This isn’t just a standard facility management job; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference to a charity dedicated to supporting people with sensory loss. Your primary duties will span from handling day-to-day general maintenance, minor repairs, and outdoor upkeep to managing external contractors, suppliers, and safety compliance. As our Lead Fire Marshall, you’ll oversee essential fire safety and broader health and safety checks. You will be capable of stepping in with basic IT and desk setups, support event preparation, and help maintain clean, safe, functional and accessible spaces. If you are an organised and proactive problem-solver with basic handy skills, good IT literacy, and have a practical, friendly approach, we would love to have you on our team.
