How legacies change lives

Without the kind generosity of leaving a legacy, we would not have the ability to support and help as many people as we do today, whether this help being supplied for days, months or years.

With the contribution of a legacy left to Sight for Surrey, will improve and enhance the lives of individuals across surrey who are Deaf, blind and deafblind no matter what stage the individual is at. By the generosity of leaving a gift in your will, this may make specialist equipment easier to access in addition to this, allowing people to become and remain independent carrying out daily activities.

We at Sight for Surrey greatly appreciate and value any donations; below are just some examples of what they contribute to:

• £140 Will pay for an Eye Clinic Liaison Officer to attend a Hospital Eye Clinic
• £600 Pays for a specialised laptop for our county-wide Communication Classes
• £2000 Pays for our mentoring scheme for people wanting to gain employment
• £5000 Will allow our younger service users to enjoy thirty events for one year
