VI Support Worker

Vision Impairment Support Workers work one to one with people who have a vision impairment, enabling, supporting and facilitating them in their everyday life tasks.

Vision Impairment Support Workers can enable people to:

• Do their own shopping
• Attend medical appointments
• Participate in meetings
• Enjoy leisure activities
• Undertake visits and trips out

There is a charge for this service but it may be funded by Social Care Teams if people meet their criteria.
