Technology handouts

Welcome to our library of technology handouts. Here you will find practical guidance on a range of devices, software and accessibility features.

We regularly add new topics and update existing handouts. Technology changes quickly so some information may occasionally be out of date. If you spot anything that needs updating please contact us by emailing technology@sightforsurrey.org.uk.

Use the buttons below to display subsections and links to the handouts. Each handout opens a PDF in a new browser tab where you can read or download it.

If you use a screen reader such as JAWS or NVDA, you may find it easier to open the PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which will require some minor configurations to ensure that files are correctly displayed for screen reader use. Visit Download Adobe Acrobat Reader or contact technology@sightforsurrey.org.uk for guidance.
