To celebrate National Sunglasses Day on 27 June, Sight for Surrey ran a week-long initiative which involved visiting local schools and raising awareness of eye health. Pupils across Surrey joined in the fun by bringing in their sunglasses to school and taking selfies. In total, our charity received £1900 in donations following the visit.

One of the schools our Outreach Team visited was Woking High School and we were delighted to receive £646 donation from them Jane Abbott, Head teacher. Callum Russell, a former student at Woking High collected the cheque on behalf of Sight for Surrey.  You can view our Sunglasses safety leaflet online at – https://www.sightforsurrey.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/SFS-Sunglasses-Day-2017-FINAL-V1.pdf
