Sight for Surrey is pleased to announce that we have developed a partnership with Caffè Nero in Surrey to host regular social events for our service users.
We have trained their staff in visual awareness and are now working together to offer people with vision impairment and combined sight and hearing loss a place to meet socially.
Our aim is to have one afternoon a month where people can meet up in their local Caffè Nero. There will be support from Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey at these events. The first afternoon will be held on 15 March, 2.00pm-4.00pm in the North Street Caffè Nero in Guildford.
The next sessions will be 19 April 19th from 2.00pm–4.00pm in Guildford North Street; 2.00pm-4.00pm in Epsom High Street; and from 10.00am -midday at the Caffè Nero in Old Town Hall, High St in Reigate . Further 2016 dates will be advertised shortly or you can call our Helpdesk on 01372 377701 for more information.
Steve Gardiner Bristow from Caffè Nero said:
“Caffè Nero is a European coffee house brand specialising in the creation of high-quality Italian coffee. Our philosophy is really very simple: Premium Italian coffee, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, good food and great personal service.
“At Caffè Nero, great people are the key to great service – those with genuine warmth and a positive outlook on life are the ones we seek out. We are lucky to have some fantastic people in our company, and they make all the difference. Our goal is to give friendly, personal service. We hope that comes across in our stores.
“As part of our commitment towards working with the local community and making the experience as good as possible for our customers, we are delighted to be working with Sight for Surrey. Our teams are looking forward to welcoming you all in our stores for a handcrafted cup of coffee soon.”
