24 hours a week £16,000 (FTE £24,000)

(Mileage to be paid at 45p per mile)

Are you looking for a new challenge or a career change? Join a small team working to support people in their local communities to promote and support people’s wellbeing. We provide a full induction and training to undertake the role.

As part of a small team, Community Champions develop good social networks making connections with individuals and professionals to promote the support we offer at Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey.

Within the role you will support the work of the organisation at a borough/district level, visiting community centres, working with local organisations, arranging and facilitating monthly social events and providing talks to local community groups. This is a varied and exciting role for a self-motivated individual looking to make a difference in your community.

This role would suit an empathetic, compassionate, self-motivated individual with good time management, interpersonal and organisational skills. IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft office is essential. The post holder will need to be able to travel within allocated boroughs in Surrey, and on occasion to our main office hub in Fetcham.
