Members of the public who are blind\, or partially sighted\, can learn Braille and how to adapt their IT equipment so it is user friendly for them. In addition we do puzzles\, crosswords and quizzes and most importantly we have a cup of tea and biscuit and good chat! \nThese skills\, as well as the essential social contact\, can make a huge difference to the independence and confidence of a blind or partially sighted person\, so do come down and give us a try! \nTo book onto the next class\, on 29th February\, please email Fiona Brandford \nIf possible\, attendees need to make their own transport arrangements to and from the class.

DESCRIPTION:Let’s Talk Tech is a free webinar delivered by Gary Eady\, Access Technology Trainer at Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey\, using the Zoom Cloud Meeting platform.  It runs on the last Wednesday of each month\, with the exception of August and December\, between 11am and 12.30pm\, and concentrates on a range of topics on technology. \nIn this webinar\, Android Accessibility Features\, Gary will discuss and demonstrate some of the accessibility features built in to Android devices (Smartphone and Tablets). These include large print options\, invert colours\, zooming in and out and the built in screen reader called TalkBack.
